youtube-dl tip: If you can play a video in your browser but it's not a site youtube-dl seems to support, open up the Network tab in your browser's dev tools, reload the page, play the video, and check for files with a .m3u extension. If you find one copy the URL and run youtube-dl on that and it'll sometimes work (no promises though).

In general astronomical imagers are monochrome. In order to make a colour image, at least 3 images must be taken, 1 each through a red filter, a green filter, and a blue filter.
These are then combined, often with an image taken with no filter, to make the colour image.

This is actually really smart.
