No motivation this week. Went to Root-Me a couple days ago and saw there were many new challenges.
Got back to the top 1.5k.

I just noticed "foreach" on npm is controlled by a single maintainer.

I also noticed they let their personal email domain expire, so I bought it before someone else did.

I now control "foreach" on NPM, and the 36826 projects that depend on it.

The James Webb Space Telescope is aligned across all four of its science instruments, as seen in a previous engineering image showing the observatory’s full field of view. Now, we take a closer look at that same image, focusing on Webb’s coldest instrument: the Mid-Infrared Instrument, or MIRI.

The MIRI test image (at 7.7 microns) shows part of the Large Magellanic Cloud. This small satellite galaxy of the Milky Way provided a dense star field to test Webb’s performance.

Here, a close-up of the MIRI image is compared to a past image of the same target taken with NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope’s Infrared Array Camera (at 8.0 microns).

Just witnessed a bunch of seagulls fight for some chips on the floor. It was wild.

Tee-hee Windows just corrupted my micro-SD card for my Raspberry Pi, funniest shit I've ever seen 🤭

I love losing work because of some dumb OS.

It's #ThreadThursdays! Do you know what an X-ray binary is?

An X-ray binary is one of the most common ways we see black holes and neutron stars, which are dead stars with extreme physics.

[Side note: Black holes and neutron stars together are called "compact objects" because at a macroscopic distance, they're more alike than different!]
